Terms of service
Last updated: 12 October 2026
Who these terms apply to
These terms govern the use of the tryVidimus services (API, capture page, customer area and verification page) published by Fyher, a limited liability company (SARL) with registered address at 19 rue Saint-Grégoire, 50170 Servon, France (SIREN 802 928 986).
The services are offered to professionals only, not to consumers. By creating an account, you accept these terms on behalf of your company.
The service
tryVidimus captures photos and videos, signs them with C2PA, timestamps them with a qualified electronic timestamp and lets anyone verify them. Test mode is free and uses simulated timestamps; production mode produces real proofs.
Your account
Each user signs in with a work e-mail address. The owner of the account manages its users and API keys. You keep your API keys secret and you are responsible for what is done with them. An e-mail address belongs to a single organization.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown, excluding VAT, on the pricing page. The service is prepaid: you add funds to a balance in euros, and each proof sealed in production is debited from it. Credit offered at sign-up and deposit bonuses are added to the balance as described on the pricing page.
An invoice is issued for each deposit and is available in the customer area. Payments are processed by Stripe. When the balance is empty, new production captures are blocked until funds are added; test mode is not affected.
What a proof is worth
A proof contains the signed files, a qualified timestamp and a public verification page. It establishes that the files existed in that state at that time. It does not guarantee how a court or any third party will assess it, and it is not legal advice.
Your obligations
You make sure that your use of tryVidimus is lawful: you inform the people who are photographed, you obtain their consent where the law requires it, and you do not send unlawful content.
You do not attack, overload or bypass the limits of the service. We may suspend an account in case of abuse, security risk or non-payment, after warning you where possible.
Storage and availability
Production files are stored for 24 months, longer while a dispute is open. Test files are deleted after 48 hours. We work to keep the service available and publish its status on status.tryvidimus.com, without guaranteeing uninterrupted operation.
Intellectual property
tryVidimus, its code and its documentation remain the property of Fyher or its licensors. Your files remain yours: you allow us to process them only to provide the service.
Liability
Fyher is liable for the direct damage it causes, up to the amounts you paid in the 12 months before the event, except in case of intentional or gross misconduct or where the law does not allow a limit. Fyher is not liable for indirect losses (loss of profit or customers, outcome of a dispute).
Personal data
The privacy policy explains how we process personal data. For the photos and videos your users capture, Fyher acts as your processor: a data processing agreement is available on request.
Changes and end of the contract
We may update these terms. We tell you by e-mail 30 days before a significant change; using the service after that date means you accept it. You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to close your account. We may end the contract in case of a serious breach.
Governing law
French law applies. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the commercial court with jurisdiction over the registered office of Fyher.
